White Rock Renegades 99' take Victory at the Canadian Open Fastpitch Int'l Championship!

The White Rock Renegades 99' fought hard on Wednesday through four games and succeeded to win gold in the Showcase Gold division. On the final day, the Team started off strong with a solid 3-1 victory against the Washington Elite which moved them on to their sister team, WR Renegades ‘98. Despite their efforts, the Team fell short with an 10-1 loss. The Renegades ‘99 were then move to the backdoor side of the bracket and needed a win to go to the championship game. The semi final match was vs. Surrey Storm ‘98. It was a slow start for the Team however they pulled through in the bottom of the 7th with a 4-3 victory. This earned a spot in the final game vs. the WR Renegades ‘98. Both teams showcased fantastic efforts, and in the end the Team were able to defeat their older sisters 6-2. Congratulations to both teams for an amazing tournament!
